Housing Resources

OHSU Off-Campus Housing Classifieds: Structured bulletin board for landlords and tenants.

College Housing Northwest: Provides housing in six unique apartment buildings easily accessible by streetcar. For more information, contact (503) 222-7105.

Apartment Search: Housing search engine including listings of apartments for students in Portland and other cities.

Places 4 Students: University Housing at Portland State University has partnered with Places4Students, a company that specializes in providing Off-Campus housing solutions for post-secondary students. This service is free for all students to use as an effective method of finding a place to live off campus or advertise for a roommate. Landlords can list properties at rates that are very competitive and less than most other mediums of advertising (faculty and staff can list properties for free!).

Smira Group: Danny Sommers is a licensed realtor who is happy to work with TAC students to help you find a place that matches your lifestyle, budget and commuting needs while you’re at The Actors Conservatory. He often provides virtual tours if you’d like to explore housing options before arriving in Portland. Contact him to discuss your preferences and get information on his fees. Since many students have limited budgets and might rely on federal financial aid, Danny is open to keeping the fee structure flexible. This allows him to work with each student to understand their circumstances. He wants to support TAC and our students, so is willing to take on most of the work to ease the fee issue. Please contact Danny at danny@smiragroup.com or (626) 824-7368 for more information.  *TAC is not affiliated with Smira Group*
