SUMMER ON STAGE INTERNSHIPS

Work with Acting and Directing professionals in a hands-on professional environment at the Northwest’s premier school of acting!

The Actors Conservatory is accepting applications from Theatre majors and minors (or those with professional experience) for intern positions for the 2019 Summer on Stage program for young actors ages 8-18. Interns must be 19 and older. Stipend available.

Interns will work with theatre professionals to assist teachers and directors in rehearsals as well as the Artistic Director in program oversight. Major responsibilities include assisting teachers, acting as assistant director, as well as some responsibilities in administration, box office and production, depending on your area of interest and ability. You will have an opportunity to work with costumes, sets, and lighting.

OUR SUMMER INTERNSHIP INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SESSION:

Summer on Stage (For ages 8 to 18), July 15-31

APPLICATION PROCESS

To apply for a Summer On Stage Internship, please submit the following:

1. A personal statement of at least 250 words describing your expectations of the internship, your area of concentration, and how the internship experience relates to your individual career goals.
2. Your availability for an internship (dates, days and times). The Internship will only be given to applicants available for all sessions.
3. A current resume, including educational experience.
4. Two letters of recommendation from persons competent to judge your character, skills, work habits, and probable success in the area of concentration (please include appropriate contact information).
